François Lavier and Lionel Clément received the Best Fund Manager of the Year Award

François Lavier

François Lavier, CFA, is Analyst and Lead Portfolio Manager of Objectif Crédit Fi and Objectif Capital Fi, he joined Lazard Frères Gestion in 2008. As an Credit Analyst, François is in charge of the European financial sector, banks and insurance companies and specialises in financials’debt.
He previously worked at the OFI Group as the Head of a Credit Analysts team from 2004 to 2008, Head of Internal Control from 2002 to 2003 and Head of Risk Management for a proprietary trading from 1998 to 2001. He holds a Master degree of Accounting Control and Audit from the Institut National des Techniques Economiques et Comptables and is a CFA Charterholder.

 

 

Lionel Clément

Lionel CLEMENT FLionel Clément is Head of the Alpha management division (High Yield bonds, Emerging market debt and Subordinated debt). He works closely with the Equity research team, which takes part in the diagnosis of the financial robustness of bond issuers. Lionel Clément joined Lazard Frères Gestion in 2010.

Between 2004 and 2009, he was manager of bond portfolio management for proprietary trading in CIB of Natixis. With Crédit Agricole between 1987 and 2004, he was manager of high-yield portfolios in CPR AM then in Crédit Agricole Asset Management. A bond trader at Chase Manhattan Bank between 1983 and 1987, he was previously bond analyst at Banque La Hénin between 1980 and 1983. He holds a DEA de Banque et Finance from the university of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
